How to Book a Skydive with Skydive Auckland

1. Choose Your Skydive

The first step is choosing how high you’d like to jump. Skydive Auckland offers tandem skydives from:

• 13,000ft – up to 45 seconds of freefall
• 16,000ft – up to 60 seconds of freefall
• 18,000ft – up to 75 seconds of freefall

Want the ultimate freefall experience? Choose 18,000ft, the highest tandem skydive available in New Zealand. You’ll experience up to 75 seconds of freefall, travelling at speeds of more than 200km/h, with incredible views across Auckland’s east and west coasts, Waiheke Island, Great Barrier Island and, on a clear day, Mt Ruapehu.

All three options give you incredible views over Auckland, but the higher you jump, the longer you’ll experience freefall.

2. Choose Your Date

Once you’ve chosen your skydive, select your preferred date and booking time. We recommend booking in advance, particularly during weekends, school holidays and the busy summer months. Because skydiving is weather dependent, your jump time can sometimes change. Our team will keep you updated if weather conditions affect your booking.

3. Add Photos and Video

Want to remember your skydive forever? You can add a photos and video package to your booking so you have professional footage of your experience, from the moment you leave the aircraft to your freefall and landing.

For the ultimate keepsake, choose our Ultimate Videos & Photos package, which includes both Handy Cam and Outside Cam footage. The Outside Cam captures those incredible third-person views of you in freefall, while the Handy Cam captures your experience from your instructor’s perspective.

You can also choose from our Videos & Photos or Video packages, depending on how you’d like to capture your experience.

Pre-book your videos and photos through our website to save $45 on the Ultimate Videos & Photos package, as well as saving time on the day.

4. Choose Your Transport

Don’t have a car? No problem. Free return transport from Auckland City is available for direct bookings, subject to availability.

Pickup is available from the Sky Tower and selected Auckland City Centre hotels. If you’re arranging your own transport, Skydive Auckland is located at 73 Green Road, Parakai, approximately 45 minutes from Auckland City by car.

5. Enter Your Booking Details

You’ll then need to provide the details required to make your booking, including your contact information and the details of everyone taking part. Make sure the information you enter is correct, particularly your email address and phone number, as these details are used to communicate important information about your booking.

6. Complete Your Payment

Once you’ve selected your skydive, date, transport and any extras, you’ll be taken through the payment process to complete your booking. After payment, you’ll receive confirmation of your booking.

Keep your confirmation email handy, as it contains important information about your booking and arrival.

7. What Happens After You Book?

Once your skydive is booked, the next step is simply to get ready for the experience. Before your jump, make sure you:

• Check your booking confirmation
• Check your arrival time and pickup details
• Allow enough time to travel to Parakai
• Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes
• Check your emails for weather updates before travelling
• Keep your day flexible in case weather conditions affect your jump

You don’t need any previous skydiving experience to do a tandem skydive. Your qualified tandem instructor will take you through everything you need to know before you board the aircraft.

Can I Change My Skydive Booking?

If your plans change, contact the Skydive Auckland team as soon as possible. Booking changes are subject to our booking terms and conditions, so we recommend checking these before making changes to your reservation.

Can I Book a Skydive as a Gift?

Absolutely. A Skydive Auckland gift voucher is a great option if you’re buying an experience for someone else. Gift vouchers can be purchased online and make an especially memorable gift for birthdays, anniversaries, Father’s Day, Christmas or other special occasions.

Can I Book a Skydive for Someone Else?

Yes. You can make a booking on behalf of another person. Make sure you enter the participant’s details accurately when completing the booking and check any age, weight or other participation requirements before booking.
