Noah Kahan Skydives Auckland: NZ’s Highest Tandem Jump

Noah Kahan Takes on New Zealand’s Highest Tandem Skydive

We were buzzing to welcome Noah Kahan to the drop zone while he was in Auckland on The Great Divide Tour. The American singer-songwriter was in town for two sold-out shows at Spark Arena, and he made time to tick a skydive off the list.

Our whole team are big fans, so it was a thrill to take him up. Noah jumped from 18,000ft, the highest tandem skydive available in New Zealand, with tandem master Sam and camera flyer Joseph along for the ride.

Noah admitted he was pretty nervous before the jump, but the nerves disappeared once he was in the air. He described freefall as “like a dream where you don’t die.” Back on the ground, his verdict was: “That was the sickest thing I have ever done by far!”

Noah shared footage of the jump online and even played it for the crowd during his second Auckland show. He also let fans know Auckland is his new favourite city, which we are happy to hear.
